I have a lot of life in front of me, don’t worry. Don’t make calculations about what a new computer will cost yet. We are in a crisis. It’s not time to abandon me and buy one of these fancy expensive machines with a new design, advertising new features. I can serve you for a long time. I don’t crash. We surf the Internet together pretty fast looking for news every day. I find for you what you’re searching in record time. Don’t look at me that way. Maybe is not a record time, but is pretty fast.

I’ve never let you down. I have been with you early in the morning. Late at night. Whenever you wanted. Whenever you felt you had something interesting to write. Even when I had to wait for you with your mind empty without inspiration. I have been there for you when your typing was happy and when was sad, when was interesting and when was boring. Never complained. We are like old companions. We know each other.

You’ll say you lost some texts but that was always your fault. You didn’t save your job in time or pressed the “delete” key when you shouldn’t. I simply obey orders. What can I do if the order is wrong?. I can’t tell you: hey! master, you are doing a mistake. I’m not your brain. I’m only your computer. I’m nothing without you.
