You receive some wonderful, improbable, hoped-for good news. How do you celebrate?

– Mom can move her arm and her leg! Mom can move her arm and her leg!

– You’re kidding me

– Come and see

She is smiling yet in tears, looking at her leg, for a year dead, now finally obeying her brain, moving slowly up and down.

– We have to go to the doctor to show her.

Mom is now showing us how she can move her arm up and down with great effort, but she is doing it. She is speechless.

– Let’s try if she can stand

With our help she slowly stand and try a few steps. First time she is able to do that in all this time since the brain stroke hit her.

An applause, laughs, smiles, tears, celebrate the wonderful achievement. Be standing is enough celebration for her after all this time only siting and being in bed.

When we calm dawn Mom tell us: let’s thank God for this. So we end our little private noisy celebration with a  thankful silent prayer.

Daily Prompt: Celebrate Good Times.
