Fictional and real superpowers

You get to choose one superpower. Pick one of these, and explain your choice:

the ability to speak and understand any language

the ability to travel through time

the ability to make any two people agree with each other

Being egoistic I would choose the ability to speak and understand any language. That would be my dream. Speak to and understand to everybody no matter where I am. Read books in the original language. Watch movies in the original version. Not depend on translations. Would be wonderful.

But I Think I’ll pick the ability to make any two people agree with each other and use it with the powerful of the world to stop the wars, put an end to a never-ending conflicts, achieve the world peace and end with the social injustice. Imagine Netanyahu and Abbas agreeing in the Israeli Palestinian conflict or Bashar Assad and the Syrian Coalition making peace, or the Presidents of both Koreas talking and agreeing, or Obama and Congress closing Guantanamo or Obama and Putin destroying nuclear weapons or… You can use your imagination. And we can descend to the social fightings and disagreements that makes our lives sometimes miserable. It would be a lot of work but worth it for a person gifted with a hypothetical superpower

But all these are impossible dreams because there is a real superpower out there collapsing agreements: geopolitical  and economic interests.
