Writing

Have you dreamt of becoming famous? What would your claim to fame be? Comedy? Acting? Writing? Race car driving? Go!

I don’t think I would like to become famous. I don’t like the world of celebrities. The lights of public social life are not for me. Feasts, endless ceremonies, social gatherings, a competence of gowns and impossible shoes, people recognising you in the street, the paparazzi… no my thing.

I’m a very private person. I would like to succeed as a writer, because is what I like to do but without the bad consequences of being famous. Publish a good novel, have a lot of readers and live unnoticed a simple life as I’m doing now. Actually I wouldn’t change my way of life.

Now, just kidding, secretly sometimes I dreamed of being like Castle, the character of the TV series who is a known (and rich) writer who helps a detective in her investigations. But this is more because of the adventure of the police investigation than because of being a famous writer. I miss the thrill of the investigative work I did as a reporter.
