Solitary Room

An extra room has magically been added to your home overnight. The catch: if you add more than three items to it, it disappears. How do you use it?

Am I one of the three items? If so, I’ll put a comfortable armchair and a good book to read during the day. I’m supposing that the room has a big window and a lot of light. If I can introduce a third item I’ll bring a glass of beverage  or a mug with hot coffee. In any case only three objects would make the room empty, cold and boring. Not very inviting to spend hours there reading. I prefer my living room.

Another solution would be a room without windows in which I’ll put a lamp in the  ceiling a racquet and a ball an use it to play squash. Another idea for a room with a big window would be a static bike, an iPod and a bottle of water and use it as a gym.

I don’t know. All the ideas only allow one person in the room. It would be a solitary room. Pretty boring. Only useful to me when I feel sad and depressed. It’s in those moments when I would like to disappear and a solitary room would be handy, but I guess not very convenient.

Breathing Room.
