You’re embarking on a yearlong round-the-world adventure, and can take only one small object with you to remind you of home. What do you bring along for the trip?
No way. My sense of adventure has diminished over the years. When I was young and without obligations, maybe. But now?. I have to take care of my family. Can I take my family with me? It would be no fair for them. I’m sure some among them won’t want to have a year-long adventure around the globe. I won’t go without them.
If I have to go anyway, I’ll take my phone with a lot of pictures of them and I’ll make sure to plan my stages and stop always in places from where I could call them or send them messages every day. I’ll won’t miss my home I’ll miss my family.
We will miss you but we are extremely happy on your new endeavors ….you will do great…you have worked so hard on this journey…stay strong Nick…good things are about to happen for you…love you…mom
Good luck, Nick. I’m really happy knowing you are fulfilling your dream. Go for it. You’ve taken an opportunity you couldn’t let pass. Congrats for your decision. Your family will miss you, but is supporting you. I would do the same for my son, but you have to understand I can’t follow your steps now… Someone else’s mom
I think my mom may have written that thinking it was my post (mainly because I don’t remember making that comment). Sorry about that. Taking your phone is a great choice. I love the camera on mine and the editing software I have for it.
How funny! No problem. I’ve seen very nice pictures in your blog.
Thanks! I love my camera so I end up taking it with me everywhere. A lot of times, however, I just end up taking pictures of things around the house, lol.
