For sale

You just inherited a dilapidated, crumbling-down grand mansion in the countryside. Assuming money is no issue, what do you do with it?

I have no idea. Not my style to live in a mansion. I would feel completely lost and uneasy. Too complicated. Too much unnecessary luxury. Too expensive maintenance costs. I prefer something simple. So I probably would try to sell it. But, who would buy a dilapidated grand mansion? That’s the question. Another option is demolish it and build a little country house in its place. It depends on where it’s located. If the place is worth it, lets say in a wonderful natural spot, maybe I would keep the land and the little house.  But if it’s too far away from home and the place is not especially interesting I’ll definitely try to sell.  Besides, if money is no problem, why spend it in a dilapidated property? There are many smarter ways to invest it.
