Who cares?

You’ve just been named the casting director of your favorite television show (or movie franchise). The catch: you must replace the entire cast — with your friends and family. Who gets which role?

But I just like the show because of its cast. I don’t have friends and family members who could portray my favourite characters of Criminal Minds, for instance. All of them are peaceful people, not especially prone to action and violence. They don’t share my taste for those kind of series. Besides, they are completely unknown for you.

So, what if I tell you that I have a sister that would be a good Penelope Garcia? A computer genius who loves all kind of colourful things and is always good-humoured.

And what if I have a friend who goes regularly to the gym, who is incredibly fit and at the same time is very smart, that could be Derek Morgan?

And what it matters if my brother reminds me to agent David Rossi?

But if I watch Criminal Minds is precisely to admire the job that Kirsten Vangsness, Shemar Moore, Joe Mantegna and the rest of the cast are doing with their characters. I like them how they are. What seems a good team.

My cast would probably cause a disaster with negative reviews and low ratings. Would be the end of the series. The idea to change the cast and bring in amateurs instead, would be proper of a criminal mind.

Cast Change.
