As it’s been a while since our last free-write… set a timer for ten minutes. Write without pause (and no edits!) until you’re out of time. Then, publish what you have (it’s your call whether or not to give the post a once-over).
No prompt. Second day in a row with the Daily Prompt page not working. And ten minutes ahead. Dangerous combination. I’m tired of this situation. I hate the yellow band with the message saying that they are doing their best to fix the problem and thanking us for our patience. I hate the empty grid. I really expected that the problem would be over today. I don’t know if the Daily Prompt team is ready and set, but it seems that is far from done.
Yesterday we were directed to send messages with the URLs of our posts to a page that for hours had no enabled messages. Finally they enabled the messages but it was too late for the bloggers from Europe. And I guess for many more who decided to call it a day, because the participation was extremely low. Today we have enabled comments on Daily Prompt from the beginning, which is good, because there is a way to share your post. But it seems that each day is more difficult for us dailyprompters to read each other posts. I really hope the technical team behind all this finds a good system, blogger-friendly and stable. I enjoy the daily prompt. I met some wonderful bloggers here and I would like to continue writing and reading in this space.
It was passed midnight when I went to bed yesterday just because I though it would only be a minute job to update my post, no it was a half hour job. very frustrating.
I saw your comment last night. It was really late. I had a chat with one of the helpers on my dashboard. I wanted to know how to send a message to the Daily Prompt page when it had them disabled. She told me she was going to check with the team and within minutes they enabled the messages. But it was late…
