The Object of My Dejection: The Daily Prompt

Tell us about the object of your dejection — something you made, a masterpiece unfinished, or some sort of project that failed to meet your expectations. What did you learn from the experience? How would you do things differently next time?

The Daily Prompt. It’s not a masterpiece, but it was a project I had incorporated to my daily habits. And now that is not working, because of the technical problems WordPress is having, it certainly failed to meet my expectations. I got used to write every day my piece based on the prompt and to read other bloggers contributions about the same topic. Now we are deprived from our only space to share our contributions and get in contact with each other. Pingbacks are closed because they are not working. Even comments have been closed. There are no updates about the progress of the situation by the WordPress team. Only an outdated message . We, who visit every day the Daily Post page and participate faithfully in the challenges, deserve more, I think. We have been left abandoned.

I didn’t want to write again about this subject. But today’s topic asked about it.

Bravo, I couldn’t have said it better myself. That is the situation. Today the prompt was a bit later I think and I was wondering if it had died eventually. I don’t trust WordPress and I don’t think they are telling as what is really going on.

It’s sad. They gave us something fun and then took it away from us.
