If you could choose to be a master (or mistress) of any skill in the world, which skill would you pick?
If I had imagination I’d have ideas for the daily prompt editors to avoid these remakes they are publishing now.
For us, veterans in the daily prompt, is not funny find an old prompt, complete with our old responses included in the grid. It’s confusing to have suddenly new likes and comments to a post written a year o two ago and at the same time try to write something new about the exactly same topic.
Is this system permanent or temporary?
Was this new system designed to get rid of the veterans?
After all this time together sharing daily different points of view about the same topic, we get used to be in contact with each other thru the daily prompt. I don’t want to leave. I’ll persevere because I have friends I care about.
But I would like to have new prompts and have fun again.
Thank you. I think I said this very thing a few times last year. The prompts weren’t prompts anymore. Not when they are recycled. I cannot imagine that @wordpress they don’t have anyone on staff that can come up with original prompts. Let’s say that they don’t. I have submitted a few of my own that were either ignored or deleted as they were never introduced into the mix.
I have been tempted to start my own Daily Prompts with the input of the community, but have not done so. Yet. It would be nice to get a handful of us “loyalistas” together and create a calendar that is 30 days out where we each plug in the prompt for those days. I think we could be a little more creative than these folks now.
It is a great start, but alas, it has not kept up and, as you have said, seems to push out the vets.
Wanna start the “Original Daily Prompt Club”?
of course!
There will be no new prompts generally. Daily Prompts in 2015. We will have to develop our own strategy this year.
Thank you for the link. I hadn’t read the article. I think they are making a mistake by giving up on new prompts. Let me know if you have an idea about what we can do. I’ll follow. I received an interesting comment by Mr. Atheist. he has some ideas and projects.
