Take a quote from your favorite movie — there’s the title of your post. Now, write!
Damn! We’re in a tight spot! (Ulysses Everett McGill in Oh Brother Where Art Thou?)
The money is scarce, the expenses are high, and we are just at the beginning of the month. We have a lot of bills to pay, above all a big one to the dentist and the salary of the nurse who takes care of my mom. How will we go out of this month?. Debts. Bills. Nightmares. Uncertainty. I know, I know, our situation is privileged compared with millions of people who doesn’t have enough to eat each day. Or the millions who live in countries in war. We are in peace and we have what we need to survive.
Despite My Mother’s life have been rather eventful, with an unjust jailing, prosecution because of her faith, and the forced separation from her husband because of the war, we are now living a quiet life, a little complicated by the illnesses, but that’s law of life. With effort and the help of God we are going on. We can’t complain, but be thankful.
Nevertheless I guess that even we, from our normal lives, have the right to exclaim now and then when we feel squeezed: Damn! We’re in a tight spot!
Oh…my..God. That is on my top five movies EVER. I love it 😀
Me too
The scene… When they start to sing at the near end and the crowd goes wild… I am always laughing at it 😀 And also, when they thought Steve was a frog 😀
it’s hilarious 😀
It really is… 😀 The face of George Clooney is priceless!
What about when he wants to buy Dapper Dan pomade for his hair? 😀
Haha, I remember that 😀 And when they are in a movie theater and prisoners start going in and they hear “Do…not..seek..the treasure” 😀
😀 It’s true. It’s really a great movie.
