Nothing in the past could prepare me for my decision to leave everything, cross the Ocean and take my chances in a new country. My “baggage” was so heavy that I left it behind. It was an intense and stressful professional life that had destroyed my health, physically and mentally. So I cut my ties with all that, and went as far as I could for a fresh start. And it worked. It was hard at the beginning, but it worked.
