Monday Window: window walls

by | Feb 3, 2020 | challenges, photography

I live in the old quarter of my cit,y, and there are no modern buildings with walls of glass. the more similar to that are the ancient windows like this one who covers two stories of a house.

You have to go walking a little to the surroundings mainly built during the 1940s and ’50s. But there is a bank with a lot of windows in its façade.

It happens to have at its feet the monument at the running of the bulls of the Fiesta of San Fermín about which Ernst Hemingway wrote a novel. (We are in Pamplona Spain)

There are close by other buildings

Some, very colorful

The reflections let see some of the traditional buildings that are around.

Those tall windows have a lot of character. I love your photo of the running bulls monumnet and the reflection in the windows above. Nice view, nice photos all. Thanks!

Thank you, Ludwig. The monument is a big atraction and the runners are going in the direction of the Arena that is very close to that place. I also like the tall windows. I have in my Archives a picture of an old building entirely covered by them but I couldn’t find it.
