All eyes turned to them as they rushed into the bar. They were too well-dressed and looked scared. They stood in the doorway for a few seconds, and then advanced to the back to occupy a free table, trying to disappear into the crowd.

The waitress asked them:

-What do you want, lovebirds?

Outside, on the dark street, two thugs were scanning the alley Searching for them.

-We have lost them. Said the tallest. The boss will be disappointed: he wants his son back and get rid of the girl.

They enter into the bar and asked the waitress: Have you spotted a fancy couple around here, baby doll?

She noticed that the man speaking to her had a gun.

-Do you think rich people come near here? I have not seen anyone except the regulars.

She served them drinks, get them distracted with a drunk  and rushed to the table where the couple was ducking, terrified to get spotted by the thugs. She led them out thru the backyard to a busy street with traffic.

-Why are you doing this?

-I also ran away for love, and it’s the best thing I have done in my life.
